Depth Hypnosis
Depth Hypnosis is a modality created by Isa Gucciardi, PhD that weaves together hypnosis, Buddhism, energy medicine, and transpersonal psychology to guide deep inner exploration.
During sessions, clients are guided through altered states of awareness to uncover unconscious beliefs and open pathways to greater freedom and self reclamation. Many people describe the hypnotic experience as similar to that of a guided meditation that supports clarity, integration, and deep intimacy with the self.
Access your deepest inner wisdom
Depth Hypnosis uses a calm, lightly altered state of consciousness to descend into the terrain of the psyche. In this state, the usual defenses and projections of the cognitive mind soften and the psyche can express itself through images, sensations, and emotional impressions that are harder to access through ordinary awareness.
The process is steady and gradual, with clients remaining fully in control of their experience. This gentle, light trance state allows deep seated patterns, stories, memories, and inherited narratives to reveal themselves in ways that are catalytic and transformational.
Depth Hypnosis is a doorway into profound transformation
Dread and anxiety about death, dying, and the unknown
Grief or pain that seems “out of reach” and difficult to access on an intellectual level
A major life change that has made mortality feel more immediate
Intense fear around illness, physical symptoms, or medical uncertainty
Challenges integrating a psychedelic, mystical, or spiritually intense experience
The feeling that progress in traditional talk therapy has plateaued
This modality is a good fit for those experiencing:
“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

After a brief conversation about what you want to focus on, I will guide you into a light altered state of consciousness, similar to a structured, guided meditation. Once you enter the trance state, we will work with whatever begins to surface—images, sensations in the body, emotional impressions, past memories, or areas that feel blocked or constricted.
Hypnosis in this modality is best described as a concentrated state of awareness that allows the deeper truth of your experience surface naturally.
You remain conscious and in control throughout the process. Nothing happens without your awareness and explicit consent.

While talk therapy is invaluable for understanding ourselves and initiating meaningful change, many people find that certain patterns remain difficult to shift even after extensive behavioral therapy.
Some reactions, memories, and emotional states develop outside conscious awareness and aren’t fully accessible through cognitive approaches alone.
Hypnosis serves as a strong adjunct to traditional therapy by providing a way to engage the subconscious beliefs, experiences, and processes that influence our behaviors just beneath the surface.

All sessions take place remotely via Zoom.
Depth Hypnosis works extremely well in a virtual setting, and many clients find it easier to settle when they’re in their own space. Being at home also supports a smoother transition after the session, without the need to commute or re-enter a busy environment immediately.

At this time, I offer Depth Hypnosis only within packages rather than as standalone sessions.
Given the depth and intensity of engaging with unconscious material, an extended container better supports trust, safety, integration, and transformation over time.
