End-of-Life Doula Services
As a certified End of Life Doula, I provide full spectrum, non-clinical support before, during, and after the dying process.
My role is relational, spiritual, and deeply attentive to the needs of the dying person and their loved ones. I hold space for the questions, fears, memories, anticipatory grief, and meaning-making that organically arise at the death threshold, centering autonomy, intuition, and dignity at each step.
Navigating death can be overwhelming and isolating. I am here to accompany you through it all.
Humans have been dying in community and with the Earth for thousands of years. I believe that we each possess intrinsic knowledge about both how to die and how to care for the dying. Working together, we will gather the sacred wisdom within and craft an end of life experience that is aligned with your values and deepest longings.
The Process
Death has been tended to with reverence and Earthbound wisdom for thousands of years. Yet today many of us are left to cross it alone, maneuvering through complex systems that are often unequipped to hold the depth and mystery of the process.
As an Earth-based end of life doula, I fill this crucial gap by providing accompaniment that meets the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs that are often overlooked by conventional care.
My approach moves through three phases: preparing for what lies ahead, tending to the active period of dying, and supporting the integration that follows.
Recognizing the end of life as a dynamic and complex process, I adapt each step to meet the needs of the dying person and their loved ones.
-
I provide Earth-guided support to help dying people and their loved ones consciously prepare for death.
This often involves:
Completing advance care directives
White glove care coordination tailored to your needs and goals
Consulting on hospice admissions
Providing respite care and household support to caregivers
Creating space for processing, conversation, and spiritual exploration
Through close collaboration and intensive non-clinical support, we will create a death planthat reflects your deepest wishes, longings, and desires for the end of life.
-
During active dying, my role is to create a sacred container where the unknown guides the way.
Just as a birth doula offers steady support during labor, I accompany dying people and their loved ones through the liminal rhythms of death.
This can include:
Holding vigil at the bedside
Providing spiritual companionship
Helping family members with caregiving and bedside support
Bringing in ceremonial elements that align with the person’s death plan
Providing respite support for caregivers
-
The days following a death call for stillness — but amidst the tenderness of loss, families are often thrust into a maze of decision-making.
I offer grounded support by handling logistics and allowing loved ones to feel, process, and grieve.
This includes:
Assistance with home funerals
Memorial and ceremony coordination
Earth-centered grief rituals and processing support
“Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.”
- Rabindranath Tagore

Death doulas provide non-clinical support to individuals and families before, during, and after the dying process. This includes companionship, advocacy, bedside presence, memorial planning, and more.
Our scope mirrors that of a birth doula, but at the end of life. As non-clinical providers, death doulas collaborate with hospice and healthcare teams to provide hoslitic, personalized care that honors the relational, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of dying.
-
My role complements hospice, never replaces it.
Hospice provides essential end of life care — but time, staffing, and institutional constraints can leave families needing more support.
As a doula, I tend to all the spiritual, practical, and interpersonal aspects of dying that fall beyond the clinical scope. This work is intensely patient-centered, unfolding in close collaboration with hospice teams and always acting as ancillary support to existing medical care.
-
My practice is non-denominational and inclusive. I work with people of all faiths, no faith, and everything in between. All are welcome.
-
Absolutely.
My spiritual counseling practice serves those at all ages & stages of life through Depth Hypnosis and Contemplative Counseling.
Exploring mortality is not reserved for the dying. Intentionally engaging with death while healthy draws us into deeper intimacy, presence, and gratitude with the living world.
