Death doulas provide non-clinical support to individuals and families before, during, and after the dying process. This includes companionship, advocacy, bedside presence, memorial planning, and much more.
Our scope mirrors that of a birth doula, but at the end of life. As non-clinical providers, death doulas collaborate with hospice and healthcare teams to provide holistic, personalized care that honors the relational, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of dying.
Death doulas are increasingly recognized as vital members of the care team, with emerging research pointing to improved end-of-life experiences for those who receive doula support.

My role complements hospice, never replaces it.
Hospice provides essential end of life care, but time, staffing, and institutional constraints often leave families needing more support.
As a doula, I can tend to the spiritual, practical, and interpersonal dimensions of dying that fall beyond the clinical scope. This work is intensely patient-centered, unfolding in close collaboration with hospice teams and always acting as ancillary support to existing medical care.

Earthbound Endings is rooted in the belief that nature can guide us back into belonging and balanced connection with mortality. Inspired by the Earth’s rhythms and lessons of impermanence, I offer eco-centered doula services to the dying and death-curious.
My offerings extend across individual and collective spaces, including both 1:1 support and group gatherings.
-
Not at all! My practice is non-denominational and inclusive. I work with people of all faiths, no faith, and everything in between. You are welcome just as you are.
